This week Pickleball Channel is jumping back in its archives to bring you an action packed 10-minute version of a great match in pickleball history. This Pickleball Channel Rewind is from 2016 which was the Minto US Open Pickleball Championship’s inaugural year, and it was making big waves. It had one of the largest cash prizes, a national television broadcast deal, and and officially elevated the PRO division for the first time.

Take a look with us at the very first US Open Men’s Pro Doubles Gold Medal Match. This game was originally aired on CBS Sports Network and was quite a show. Hometown hero Kyle Yates and his partner Dave Weinbach were put to the test by the team of Daniel Moore and Wes Gabrielsen.
