Pickleball Channel is excited to see the rapid growth of pickleball and it is evident everywhere…in the news, in the marketplace, in local neighborhoods and as a professional sport.
We always want to make players aware of where this new growth is happening and Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is one of those places. They have decided to really invest in the sport and will be putting on their first annual Las Vegas Pickleball Open from September 25-29, 2018.
During their latest remodel they strategically chose to put in permanent pickleball courts seeing how the sport was taking off. Now they are adding a championship court with spectator viewing for this tournament. Adding $25,000 in prize money in the pro category and investing heavily in media coverage shows just how well they understand that growth.
Pickleball Channel has been invited to be a part of the event and we are coordinating with them to do just that.
