CPR Saves Lives and anyone, you too, can do Hands Only CPR. We have heard multiple stories of how CPR and AED’s have saved the lives of pickleball players.  This simple 60 second video shows you how to do Hands Only CPR. Please watch and share and thank you for helping make a difference.

It is an official Hands-Only CPR instructional video from the American Heart Association http://www.heart.org/handsonlycpr.
Remember, if you see a teen or adult collapse, call 9-1-1 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of the classic Bee Gees’ song “Stayin’ Alive.” The American Heart Association’s Hands-Only CPR at this beat can more than double or triple a person’s chances of survival.

  1. Suppose they have just fainted? Could this cause a problem if the heart has not stopped beating?

    • If the person is breathing normally, CPR is not required. If the breathing stops, CPR is required. If you perform CPR on someone who is breathing normally, we believe it can be harmful. Please research this area at your next CPR class though to be sure.

  2. Rusty did a great job in helping to save that gentleman’s life. The video on CPR is a very good reminder of how to perform it.

  3. One of our fellow pickle Ballers was saved by CPR immediately. All Personnel at your place of play should know where the AED is located and also who to call immediately to begin CPR immediately. We are getting a program to teach all players CPR at our Recreation Center
