  1. How can I promote Pickleball? I’ve played here in Plymouth, In. at the LifePlex and have talked the park board into starting it. They’ve bought the equipment, and we are playing at the Webster Center, but, just can’t seem to get enough people interested. Sometimes we barely have enough people to play. I’ve put posters at the library, the post office, the Moose, and have had it put in the Community Events in the local newspaper. A reporter put pictures and an article about it in the Pilot News, but, people just don’t seem to be interested. Some come now and then, but, you can’t depend on them to be here. Some of us love the game, and can’t understand why more people don’t come. I don’t know what else to do.

    • Hi Lois, thank you for watching and reaching out. Hang in there, and keep on sharing. It might also be good for you to touch base with your closest USAPA Ambassador, if that’s not you. And then also to touch base with other Ambassadors and ask them this same question. There is an Ambassador forum where you can post and get feedback from other ambassadors from around the country. They may have helpful feedback. All the best and Keep On Playing!

  2. Great video! Having created the “Southern Arizona Pickleball Association” last year I am working hard at trying to get these youngsters involved. The problem is, there are hardly any tournaments in Southern Arizona that allow these kids to enter. Most tournaments are starting at age 50+. I am hoping to affect some change in this area, and possibly hold a tournament that would allow these kids to play. Appreciate the videos you guys make.

    • Thanks for reaching out Chuck, and way to go. Hang in there. It will come in time with folks like yourself and others helping. Please keep in touch if you do come upon or facilitate a multi-generational tournament. All the best.

The age categories start at 19+ and go to 80+

Pikes Peak Pickleball Association is the host and will provide 13 dedicated PB courts in one venue.

This is the inaugural event and will have a huge player registration.

  4. I would like to propose that Pickleball Channel consider doing a video of Harriet and Josh Kalin. Both of whom have been ambassadors in West Palm Beach , Florida and have been instrumental in the growth of the sport. They have involved themselves in getting the aprks and recreations department to install 8 outdoot pickleball courts in Boynton beach , arranged numerous clinics and involved a myriad of community centers into offering pickleball as an activity.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.
