Our premiere episode starts with a drill brought to you by Rusty and his invited guest, Scott Moore, top 5.0 pickleball player, who will show you how to improve your volley shot by drilling with a ball machine.  So watch now, share with your friends and remember…if you want to improve your skills, you gotta do the drills!

  1. Great drill setup! Look forward to benefits from practicing!!!

  2. Nice drill but players are hitting volley shots while standing in the non volley zone. This changes the shot angle for easier placement on opponents. Practicing this will likely lead to shots into the net in actual play.

    • Hi Gene, Thanks for watching and keeping an eye on the non-volley zone and commenting. Actually, the court that they are drilling on is a multi-use court with both tennis lines and pickleball lines. If you look closely you will see that the pickleball line is blue. You can see it clearly on the green part of the court. In order to keep it subtle, this tennis facility was only willing to put a blue on blue for that part of the court vs a more obvious RED or other high contrast color all around. Thanks again for watching.

  3. Well…great sales event for ball machines. Students were practicing shots while standing in the kitchen. No, no and no. I also saw many of the returns high enough that many of our 3.0 and 3.5 players would have side swatted them back hard. Third comment: How to relax grip or otherwise convert a hard in coming to a soft, controlled outgoing. Nice try but segment was weak.
