  1. Great advice, but how do you keep the ball low. I’d like to see a step by step video on that. I need to learn the right stroke to keep it low.

  2. Hi Dave, Thanks for the tip. I’ve been struggling with keeping my returns low of balls that are hit super hard at me, or when a ball is slammed towards me and it “get it”, but when i do, the balls are usually too high and they slam it back again. It is tough to react fast enough at the net to do anything but be in defensive mode, and i’m lucky that I can at least block the slam and get the ball back over to them. But they usually are high. I was hoping you had a tip that could help me block those slams but keep the return much lower. thank you for your time.

  5. I also have all the above questions. Have not had anyone be able tp help me keep the ball unattackable. I know I am doing something wrong but don’t know how to fix it. Any drills or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    • Hi Janice. I’m guessing that your swing may be originating with your wrist or your elbow. Try to make sure you actually swing with the whole arm and it’s your shoulder that does the pivot motion. (Keep the swing calm!) This should help you control your dink. Good luck, and keep on playing!
